A slow drain needs
the right questions.

A slow sink, recurring clog and several backed-up fixtures need different conversations. Describe what you are seeing so the scope can be reviewed before a visit is arranged.

LET’S START WITH YOUR PROJECT

Request a quote.

Share the basics. Scope and availability are confirmed before booking.

Add a short note (optional)

Requests are saved privately for manual review. This is not a booking or an emergency dispatch.

01

Start with the pattern, not a guess.

You do not need to identify the blockage yourself. The useful first details are where water is slowing down, how long it has been happening and whether the same problem has returned after earlier work. Include any drain products already used so that this information is available before work begins.

One fixture
Name the sink, tub, shower or toilet. Say whether it drains slowly, stops completely or makes an unusual sound.
Several fixtures
List everything affected and whether the symptoms started together. Ask whether the shared drainage route needs investigation.
A recurring problem
Describe previous cleaning or repair and how long it helped. Ask what further inspection could establish before another treatment is chosen.
02

Cleaning, inspection and repair are different scopes.

Ask the provider to explain the purpose of each proposed step. A cleaning quote should say which drain is included and how access will be obtained. A camera inspection should have a clear question to answer and specify whether findings or images are included. Pipe repair or replacement should be separately described, with excavation, reinstatement and approvals addressed when relevant.

  • Is the quoted amount for assessment, cleaning or both?
  • What happens if the first method does not resolve the problem?
  • Will additional work require your approval first?
  • Are repeat visits or a camera inspection included or charged separately?
03

Make the request useful.

Include the fixture, symptoms, recurrence and access limitations in a short note. If the property has a private septic system, state that instead of assuming a municipal sewer connection. An enquiry here is saved for review; it is not a confirmed appointment or an emergency dispatch.

04

When water is actively backing up

Do not rely on this quote form for immediate assistance. Stop using affected fixtures and seek an available plumbing service directly. Keep away from standing water near electrical equipment; call 911 for immediate danger. This page does not diagnose a blockage or establish that water is safe.

YOUR QUESTIONS

Before the next step.

Do I need a camera inspection for every clog?

A provider should explain why an inspection is useful for your particular symptoms. Ask what it is expected to show and how the result would change the recommended work.

Can I get a firm price from a short form?

The form starts a scope discussion. Access, the affected line and the work needed must be established before a reliable quote can be agreed.

Does this form book drain cleaning?

No. It records your request for review. The service scope, availability and any visit must be confirmed separately.
